Diploma in Theology

The Diploma in Theology is an introductory programme designed to provide a foundational understanding of the Christian faith and the various branches of theology, with particular emphasis on Sacred Scripture. The programme may be completed within a minimum duration of six months. Upon successful completion, participants are awarded a certificate issued under the authority of the Tely-Alpha Centre for Religious Sciences.

Applicants seeking admission to the Diploma in Theology (DTh) programme must fulfill the following requirements:

• Successful completion of SSLC or an equivalent qualification.
• Submission of a recommendation letter from the competent ecclesial authority, such as the Parish Priest or the Superior of the Religious House.
• Applicants who have previously pursued studies in other theological Institutes or Faculties may be considered for admission after the canonical validity of their certificates and academic qualifications has been duly scrutinized.
• The Academic Council of the Institute shall evaluate such applications, and its decision regarding admission and the recognition of previous studies shall be final.
